Stardom
A Prestigious Past
Our journey began in Satara, Maharashta, with a humble practice of collecting milk from nearby villages. Mr. Dhananjay Chavan is the visionary behind this initiative, and he has contributed immensely to building the brand over the years.
In 2013, we started Suman Ago and Food Processing Pvt. Ltd. with automated milking machines and 350+ cows. Our milk was hygienic, antibiotic-free, and truly pure. We were even supplying to Nestle and continued to grow over the years. In the milk and milk products market, we crossed an annual turnover of INR 100 crores.
A Prosperous Present
Our modern technology and meticulous milking procedures have ensured that the quality of its products has remained consistently high. We process 50,000 to 52,000 litres of milk every day, and it is packed safely so families across the state can relish the taste of purity.
We created a new brand name ‘Sumesti’ in 2023 and expanded beyond dairy products to include ice creams, too. Continuous quality control measures and effective customer relationship management have helped us grow consistently over the years.
